The Karamoja Indigenous and Modern Health (KIMHECOP) has adapted the Finnish project that provides mothers with a sleeping box. The project provided new mothers in Uganda with a bucket full of necessary items for a baby. One hundred baby buckets were given to midwives to take to new mothers. midwives received gloves and razor blades to use in cutting the umbilical cord. This project mirrors the Finnish Project that is globally very popular. For more information on the Finnish Project see the link here.
