Shriners Hospital Project

Project Objective:

SHARE’s interns assemble gift bags for children and their siblings undergoing care at the Shriner's Hospital.

 

2021:

This year, SHARE donated twenty gift bags to children at the Shriners Hospital in the spring. An additional 10 bags were donated in the fall.

2020:

The SHARE Institute donated ten gift bags to Shriners' Hospital in Sacramento. The bags are used as incentives for patients and siblings attending zoom classes.

2018:

Eight bags will be donated to the Shriner's Hospital that include all kinds of goodies for the siblings of patients to enjoy while in the hospital with the family. The bags include coloring books, pens, small toys, hair bands, other nick nacks.

2019:

SHARE interns put together eight bags for Shriners Hospital. These bags went to the pediatric burn ward, where whole families are often in the ward with the patients. The bags were made for the siblings of the patients to give them something to make the time pass easier, such as coloring books, puzzles, dominoes, and story books.

2015:

SHARE interns completed twelve bag that were donated to the Shriner's Hospital for Children. The bags had coloring books, stickers, coloring pencils and small books. Siblings of young patients us these supplies to keep busy waiting for their loved ones to get well.

2014:

The Interns put together 15 gift bags of art supplies, games, books and other items for the children under care at Shriner’s Hospital. Items included: books, crayons, toys, and coloring books, and other gifts intended to bring a smile to a child’s face.
