2018:

This project trained twenty women in profitable maize growing, and and marketing techniques. Women learned appropriate drying, transporting and selling of maize. A demonstration farm was established by the women where they practice proper technique of seed selection, disease control, weeding and water management. All of the beneficiaries witnessed an increase in the production of maize and they realized higher income for their families. Many of the women joined a village-based association for saving and credit.
