Tabitha Infirmary

The Tabitha Infirmary in Nigeria provides information and support to communities to improve the health and quality of women’s lives.  The foundation aims to create awareness about disease prevention, offers basic obstetrical care, encourages community outreach programs, and periodically conducts workshops and seminars.

SHARE Sponsored Programs:

The SHARE Institute awarded a mini-grant to the Tabitha Infirmary to sponsor the performance of a play to educate rural-based adolescents in Nigeria about HIV/AIDS.  The play was designed using “young peoples’ language and sub-cultures” in order to teach the youth community on how AIDS can be contracted and diagnosed.
