The Life Home Project Foundation (Thailand)

The Life Home Project (LHPF) houses HIV positive women and their children, but also serves as a skills training facility.  Workshops are held to train women in viable occupational skills such as sewing, painting, baking and catering.  Micro-credit is also offered to assist those who wish to start their own small business.  Child care, health education, hospice assistance, medication, and outreach within the community are also provided within this organization.

SHARE Sponsored Programs:

2005:

The SHARE Institute awarded a mini-grant to the LHPF for the purchase of new paintbrushes, acrylic paints, and paper.  Women new to the project were also trained to paint and draw with this donation. Overall, the mini grant enhanced the women’s artistic skills and helped to create beautiful works of art.
