2012:

The interns of The SHARE Institute continued to implement one of their favorite projects. They assembled Spring Baskets to be delivered to homeless children in the Sacramento region. An assortment of supplies were contributed by each intern, including reading and activity books, crayons, candy, toys and anything else that would be appealing to a child between the ages of eight and eleven. The interns’ efforts resulted in a total of 27 unique and thoughtfully decorated baskets. This is one of the most popular projects among the interns each spring because it is an opportunity to bring smiles to the homeless children of the area. These baskets were brought to Loaves and Fishes to be distributed to homeless children.
