Local Elementary School in Del Paso

In April 2009, interns of The SHARE Institute came together to assemble ‘Spring Baskets’ for students and children in the Sacramento Region.  The interns searched stores for bargain deals and items that would appeal to children between the ages of 8 to 11 years old.  Approximately 80 baskets were decorated and filled with books, crayons, activity books, socks, candies, stickers, school supplies, and other small toys.  The majority of the baskets were hand-delivered to a local elementary school in Del Paso Heights, and the remaining baskets were delivered to Mustard Seed in Sacramento.
