2022:

In 2022, SHARE funded Murua Girl Child Education Programs in Kenya to promote awareness of Female Genital Mutilation and give 30 women, including 10 survivors of FGM, opportunities for economic empowerment.

All 30 of the women were given training in business and advocacy skills. 10 of these women were given microloans to establish sustainable businesses, including vegetable stands and salons.

As of the final report, 90% of the microloans have been repaid.
